2003 Sauvignon Blanc

Our Sauvignon Blanc comes from the Mariani
Vineyards in Calaveras County. The vines are
20 years old and produce a slightly spicy an
intenseley flavorful wine. It has lively, tangy
acidity with herbaceous fruit and a touch of
melon. The roundnedd of the Sauvignon Blanc
comes from 4 months of aging in French oak.
It is dry, well balanced wine that should be
servedslightly chilled. This wine pairs well with
most fish dishes and, due to its high acidity,
tomato-based sauces.
