Our Sangiovese Rosato is a gold medal winner in the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. This Sangiovese contains the predominant grape in Chianti wine of Italy, but ours is light pink with a crisp, floral and fruity aromas and flavors. It is a dry, well-balanced wine that should be served slightly chilled. This wine goes well with lighter dishes such as chicken, soups, as an appetizer wine, and also with Asian food.


Grape Composition: 90% Sangiovese, 10% Zinfandel
Vineyard Location: Calaveras County and hillside above 2300 ft.
Aging: 6 months in stainless steel
Production: 200 Cases
Chemistry: ph: 3.1, total acidity: 6.9 g/l, Alcohol:14.7%
