½ pounds ground beef
2 cup finely chopped onions
1 cup finely chopped green pepper
6 cloves of garlic
3 2 lb 3 oz cans tomatoes
3 6 oz cans tomato paste
1 ½ cup ZMV Zinfandel
5 teaspoons oregano
5 teaspoons basil
1 ½ cup water
½ cup chopped fresh parsley
2 teaspoon thyme
1 crushed bay leaf
2 tablespoon salt
Pepper to taste

Cook ground beef until brown in a large pot, breaking
it up with a spoon while cooking.
2. Stir in onion, green pepper and garlic. Cook for
10 more minutes.
3. Mash tomatoes and add to pot along with the tomato
paste, wine and the rest of the ingredients.
4. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered
for 3 more hours, stirring occasionally. After an hour
of cooking, adjust the seasonings to your personal taste.
5. Serve over spaghetti noodles and top with grated
parmesan cheese. Include a green salad, Italian bread
and ZMV Zinfandel.
