Barbera
2000
In 2000, ZMV developed a wonderful Barbera. This wine comes from a variety of grape that originated in the Piedmont area of Italy. However, unlike many lighter Barberas from Italy, our wine is rich, chewy, and full bodied. It has good acid, fruit, caramel, and other flavors to pair well with heavier meals such as steak, game, and barbeques. You can serve it with food smothered in a spicy marinara sauce. The finish is long and the mouth feel is full. This wine can be stored for up to 15 years if you can wait that long.
